Problem

Nobody had a number for how much the SuperApp services could take together.

SPAN 02 // IMPLEMENTATION

Solution

k6 Operator on the staging Kubernetes cluster, holding 75 req/s for 32 minutes against search, the courses and jobs API, the citizen API, the URL shortener and Heimdall, using 7,500 unique CPFs.

SPAN 03 // DETAILS

Highlights

Per-service report with percentiles and latency distribution.
Traced a bimodal 1–5 s tail in search to its cause.

Result

1,137,244 requests with 0% errors. The citizen API peaked at 903 req/s with 73% of responses under 25 ms.
