SPAN 01 // CONTEXT

Problem

Revolusolar trains electricians and solar installers in low-income communities and needed a place where companies could find and hire them.

SPAN 02 // IMPLEMENTATION

Solution

A public showcase with filters by state, project and availability, contact by WhatsApp or email that requires the company to identify itself, and an admin panel for the nonprofit's staff.

SPAN 03 // DETAILS

Highlights

A monorepo with Next.js (Server Components), a Hono API and its own UI library, in strict TypeScript.
API routes tested in process, without opening a socket.
Secrets encrypted in git with SOPS and age, and Caddy with security headers and direct-IP access blocked.
A flag-controlled "coming soon" mode for launch.
